Overview

AsiaWorld-Arena (also Hall 1, located at the East side of AsiaWorld-Expo) is a purpose-built entertainment and Hong Kong's largest indoor seated venue. Boasting a total area of 10,880 square metres, a maximum capacity of 13,500 and high ceiling clearance of 19 metres, this world-class Arena is ideally suited for hosting a wide variety of large-scale events, ranging from concerts, entertainment extravaganzas, sporting spectaculars to large-scale conferences and corporate functions.

This remarkable Arena offers the ultimate flexibility for local and international superstars to host concerts of different scales, ranging from intimate and personal mini-performances to breathtaking large-scale shows. The venue has already staged a wide spectrum of special events, which have included big-name international pop-star concerts including Avril Lavigne, Christina Aguilera, Eric Clapton, John Legend, Oasis and Westlife. The Arena has also played host to large-scale entertainment shows such as the 10th Anniversary Celebration Gala of Phoenix Satellite Television and the Miss Chinese Cosmos Pageant, as well as sports competitions like the K-1 World Grand Prix 2007 and the 2008 Hong Kong IDSF Asian Pacific DanceSport Championships.

Apart from the Arena, other typical halls are also suitable for hosting standing concerts.

Information About Box Office

AsiaWorld-Expo has its own in-venue box office on Level 1. Operating as a ticket outlet for HK Ticketing and URBTIX, AsiaWorld-Expo Box Office is the only ticketing outlet in Lantau.
